Gratitude and the Spirit of Innovation

Scott ThorntonAnnouncements, Holidays, Las Vegas

Thanksgiving gives us the opportunity to pause, reflect, and appreciate the things that make our lives meaningful. Here in Las Vegas, I am grateful for the creative and innovative spirit that drives everything from entertainment to designs to technology. Creativity doesn’t just fuel our economy; it defines our identity as a city.

Celebrating Creativity and Innovation

Few cities blend creativity and commerce like Las Vegas. The Strip is a gallery of branding and design. Each resort, hotel, and venue tells a story through architecture, theme, and style. Intellectual property law protects those distinctive elements that set one experience apart from another.

Entertainment companies, world-class residencies, and immersive digital shows all rely on patents, trademarks, and copyrights to safeguard artistry and technology. Without those protections, the creative pulse of Las Vegas wouldn’t be what it is today.

Las Vegas continues to find ever imaginative ways to reinvent itself. From sustainable resort design to advanced sound systems, improved lighting technology, major sporting events, and world-class cuisine, the spirit of innovation keeps our city moving forward.

Thank You

As Thanksgiving approaches, I feel grateful for the creative energy that permeates every corner of this city; and for the people who turn that energy into something real. Likewise, I am ever grateful for the people who are out there working to keep us safe while we enjoy quality time with our friends and families.

The Thornton Firm will close on Thursday, November 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. We will reopen on Monday, December 1 for regular business hours.
